Selecting a major is one of the most important decisions you’ll make, as federal financial aid is now tied to classes you take in your course of study. At Pellissippi State, we have dozens of options, so let’s look at your end goal. Do you want to enter the workforce at the end of your program, transfer to a four-year college or improve a skill?

Pellissippi State tuition is about $2,228 per semester for a full-time student — not counting your books and living expenses. To help you graduate with a degree, not debt, we offer many types of scholarships — more than 735 — and financial aid.
All students should fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.gov and a scholarship application at www.pstcc.edu/financialaid to take advantage of these opportunities. Completing one scholarship application automatically matches your name to the list of students being considered for each scholarship for which you qualify.
Most of our students qualify for Tennessee Promise or Tennessee Reconnect. Both are last-dollar scholarships that pay for your tuition and mandatory fees once any federal and state financial aid has been applied. TN Promise is available for new high school graduates who apply during their senior year, complete their required community service hours each semester and attend mandatory meetings with their assigned mentor. For TN Promise information, visit www.tnpromise.gov. TN Reconnect is for adults who have not yet earned a degree. Information and an application can be found at www.tnreconnect.gov.
