Get hands-on instruction from experienced faculty chefs at our state-of-the-art Culinary Institute on our Blount County campus. Every facet of the art is covered, from creating the perfect pastry or savorydelight to the day-to-day of hospitality and management.
You will be certified through the National Restaurant Association in food production and sanitation when you graduate. You can also apply to the American Culinary Federation, the premier certifying body for cooks and chefs in America.
With a degree in Culinary Arts, you’re in high demand. Many of our graduates immediately get to work in the local food scene.
This sequence can be followed by students who begin college-level work in the fall semester. Prerequisites may apply to specific courses; it is the student’s responsibility to determine if prerequisites have been met. An academic advisor is provided for each student. Prior to registering each semester, the student is expected to consult with his/her assigned advisor.
